Broken china heads
Your Armand Marseille, Kammer and Reinhardt, Heubach Koppelsdorf or Simon and Halbig, German Dolls or your French dolls such as: SFBJ’s and Jumeau’s (to name only a few) will have bisque or china heads. These can be invisibly repaired and repainted.
Composition is badly effected by changes in humidity and temperature. This will cause ‘crazing’ ( a cracking of the surface paint) and deep cracking. It will depend on the level of deterioration as to the chosen level of repair. The most extreme cases can be restored and the smallest crazing ‘disappeared’.
